I am the leader of the Council of the Tampere Region, the region´s promotion and cooperation in Europe and Finland. My goal is a sustainably successful international Tampere region. I am responsible for our results to the Regional Assembly and the Board.
Strong advocacy in Brussels is a shared responsibility of all regional actors, as we aim to collectively secure European partners, obtain EU funding for research and development, and promote the region in terms of attracting investments and talent. https://tampere.eu/en/contact-us/
I am responsible for personnel, finance and administration.
I coordinate cultural and rural affairs at the Council of Tampere Region and work together with stakeholders. In addition, I am the contact person for immigration matters as well as joint service point and broadband matters. I also act as the Data Protection Officer of the Council of Tampere Region.
I am responsible for regional development planning and financing of development projects. Our Council also supports the regional developers by promoting their cooperation. I promote the interests of the region both in Finland and in the European Union.

My responsibility is to lead the land use planning and transport team and to plan and develop operations together with the team. My special expertise is Transport System Design, but you can turn to me with any questions about land use, transport or environmental planning.
